3. Prince Yadav
Prince Yadav is another player who could benefit if India continue to rotate their bowling resources, particularly in T20Is. The 24-year-old right-arm pacer from Najafgarh represents Delhi in domestic cricket and Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
Yadav has already received opportunities at the international level in 2026. He made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in June and has played three matches in the format, picking up four wickets. He subsequently made his T20I debut against Ireland and has taken nine wickets in six T20Is at an average of 18.77, including a best of 3/22.
His recent performances also suggest that he can make an impact when given an extended run. Yadav returned figures of 2/19 and 2/10 against Zimbabwe in July, showing his ability to pick up wickets while keeping the scoring rate under control.
His domestic record further strengthens his case. Yadav was Delhi's leading wicket-taker in both the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. He claimed 11 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at an economy rate of 7.54, while his 11 wickets in six Vijay Hazare Trophy matches came at an average of 22.00.
With India possessing several established fast-bowling options, managing workloads could become increasingly important as the international calendar progresses.
